Opportunity Description
SUMMARY
This occupation requires performing manual and clerical duties in loading and unloading shipments. Check and verify incoming and outgoing shipments, quantities, condition, identity of parts, and weight of material with receiving pack slip. Prepare parts for shipment, package, load and secure. Able to operate fork-lift and company trucks to 1 ½ tons, for pick up and deliveries in local and LA areas. Requires moderate physical exertion, lifting, bending, considerable time standing and assisting other co-workers in the performance of their duties.
RES PONSIBILITIES
+ Unload materials, parts, supplies, tools and equipment from carriers and company vehicles. Route items in receiving to proper destinations within the plant. Segregate discrepant items or shipments and process according to standard procedure.
