About The Role
Position: Drilling Lead Hand
Crew Schedule: 7/7 12‑hour rotating day and night shifts
Position Reports To: Senior Mine Operations Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
- Assist in leading daily safety meetings
- Conduct and complete monthly required safety KPIs and hazard identification
- Complete training on INX Intuition and implement safety documentation and investigation reporting
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and support senior supervisor with incident reporting and investigations
Operations & Production
- Coordinate daily operations for the drilling team with other stakeholders such as Mine Operations for pattern cleanup and Dyno Nobel for loading
- Assist in supervising, training, and mentoring the drillers and driller trainees in their day‑to‑day tasks
- Monitor and optimize drilling targets and KPIs
