Opportunity Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Department of Public Works (DPW) Organic Waste Crew works the daily operations of the Organic Waste collection station at the Staff Commissary in Black Rock City and contributes to set up, maintenance, and strike. Crew members are responsible for following plans for organics, landfill, recycling, and materials management, including the safe and effective use of equipment such as the pressure washer. Additionally, they play an important role in supporting the infrastructure of BRC by staffing the Organic Waste collection station at the Staff Commissary and servicing the Staff Commissary vendor. This role requires a strong commitment to teamwork, adherence to safety practices, and a proactive approach to learning and applying best practices under the guidance.
