Summary Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities. Responsibilities Incumbent must be in their second or third year of their theological and/or ministerial training program from an educational institution recognized as accredited by the U.S. Department of Education. This position is located at a Bureau of Prisons'(BOP) Chaplaincy Services field department or within the Chaplaincy Services Branch in Central Office. This is a developmental position in a formal training program which provides entry at other than the performance level and development for future assignment as a Chaplain. This program includes a period of familiarization with the overall functions of the Chaplain position. Requirements Conditions of Employment U.S. Citizenship is Required.
