Distributed Systems Engineer

The Role

AIM is a deep-tech startup building advanced high-power laser systems to protect people from weaponised drones. We are seeking highly motivated Distributed Systems Engineers, experienced in Go (golang), and based in Vancouver, BC. At AIM, you will work closely with our Engineering and R&D teams to design, develop, and improve the distributed systems that supply real-time data to our laser control systems. The role focuses on distributed systems with an emphasis on practical performance, scalability, and deployment in real-world conditions rather than purely research-based work.

The Commitment

We are looking for candidates who are available immediately on a full-time basis and are able to work effectively in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
