Dispatch Supervisor

We are currently searching for a dynamic Dispatch Supervisor at our Montreal office. Reporting to the General Manager, Montreal Operations, he / she will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the dispatch center located in Montreal, QC, serving Quebec, Ontario, and the Maritimes.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Act as the front-line supervisor for designated dispatch staff.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Montreal dispatch center, including the training and development of dispatchers.
• Provide operational backup to dispatchers during their weekly review of drivers’ roadsheets and cover shifts during vacations, absences, or sick leave.
• Monitor and validate the accuracy of dispatcher entries within the computerized dispatch system (AS400).
