The Law Society of BC is seeking a temporary, full-time Counsel in our Discipline department for a 6‑month term. The Discipline Counsel is responsible for the effective prosecution of citations at hearings before discipline panels and review boards and for occasional representation of the Law Society as required in other proceedings, including appearances before the Supreme Court of BC or the Court of Appeal. The Discipline Counsel also provides advice and assistance to Benchers and staff on discipline and related policy matters.
