Director Of Accounting - Mex (Monterrey)

Perform multiple general ledger-related activities to include analyzing financial statements and balance sheets, preparing GL account reconciliations, monthly close, and financial reporting.

• Lead Mexico‑based accounting teams responsible for accounting at both Mexico entities and certain areas supporting the US accounting teams, including coaching and training.
• Manage month‑end close activities for the entire set of Mexico financials and areas supporting the US accounting close, including preparation or review of journal entries, reconciliations, and other duties as necessary.
• Determine whether discrepancies exist and recommend actions to resolve them.
• Analyze and review business drivers of balance sheet and income statement variances.
• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close.
