Lead the technical direction of the Rook I project as Director of Mine Technical Services in Saskatoon. Leverage your mine engineering expertise to drive project success and high safety standards.
Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, this full-time role requires deep knowledge in mine planning and geotechnical functions. You will mentor a results-oriented team and ensure the mine’s design, development, and operations meet the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance. Collaborative work is essential, with regular site visits to oversee project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluate technical studies and designs
• Supervise external technical consultants and assess project progress
• Oversee optimization of mine production plans
• Develop geo-metallurgical models for long-term success
• Lead NI 43-101 compliant technical studies as Qualified Person
