This is a senior leadership role responsible for building and leading Nordstrom Beauty’s education function from the ground up. As Nordstrom evolves to a brand-agnostic, service-led model, this role exists to define what “good” looks like on the floor—and to build the systems, curriculum, and field partnerships that ensure it shows up consistently across every store. Education is the lever. Performance and execution are the outcome.
A day in the life…
+ Define the education vision and build the curriculum architecture across onboarding, ongoing education, and certification
+ Hire and lead an initial team of 2 FTE, establishing clear roles, priorities, and operating rhythms—with plans to scale as the model is proven
+ Own adoption, not just delivery—building reinforcement mechanisms including certification, coaching loops, and field feedback systems
