Opportunity Description
Join a fleet maintenance shop as a Diagnostic Truck Mechanic . You'll diagnose and repair a diverse range of commercial vehicles in a modern, climate-controlled facility in Dorval . This role focuses on preventive maintenance, electrical diagnostics, engine work, and after-treatment system repairs.
Requirements
- 4+ years heavy truck repair experience
- Advanced electrical and engine diagnostics skills
- After-treatment system diagnostic knowledge
- AC and ABS system repair experience
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform back-probing
- Own complete tool set
- Valid driver's license
- Systematic troubleshooting ability
- OEM diagnostic software experience (Volvo, Mack, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner) preferred
- Commercial Driver's License preferred
- Automotive mechanic background willing to transition to heavy trucks preferred
