SUMMARY

As part of the National Design team with Doman Building Solutions for Engineered Wood Products (EWP) Services, the EWP Designer/Estimator prepares take‑off designs of engineered floor and roof systems for our customers. Products include beams, joists, columns, connectors, adhesives, rim boards, and sheathing.

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

• Prepare professional floor design drawings, quotes, and material lists using proprietary design software.
• Consult with roof truss plants, lumber dealers, architects, engineers or builders regarding project plans, design issues, or specifications as required.
• Maintain project files with pertinent information and update the design department’s job‑tracking system as needed.
