Savanna Drilling is seeking a skilled Derrickhand to manage derrick operations and uphold safety standards during drilling activities in a collaborative environment.
As a Derrickhand, you will report to the Driller and Rig Manager while assisting in supervising the crew. Core skills for this role include fluid monitoring, equipment operation, and an unwavering focus on safety compliance to support effective drilling practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the derrick and associated heavy machinery
• Maintain drilling fluid properties and monitor mud levels
• Conduct safety inspections and document compliance
• Support training efforts for junior crew members
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and practices
Requirements:
• H2S Alive, First Aid, and Fall Protection tickets required
• Experience in oilfield services and supervisory roles
