Job Description Summary

Perform CT scans on predominantly outpatients at the Laurel Street Pavilion CT scanner. Able to start IVs and inject IV contrast. Proficient with computers and IT, able to process patient throughput on EPIC and other computer programs. Able to work efficiently in an outpatient setting.

The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) reports to the CT supervisor of CT and manager of radiology.

Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician. Other duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and one year of radiologic experience.
