Job Summary

IRC (Inuvialuit Regional Corporation) seeks candidates for Cruise Ship Monitors. The role involves monitoring and ensuring environmental compliance onboard cruise ships visiting the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR). Approximately seven cruise ships will make 22 stops in the region during the contract period.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Environmental Compliance – monitor and enforce environmental regulations, guidelines, and standards onboard cruise ships; ensure operations align with project terms and applicable environmental standards.
• Safety and Precautionary Measures – follow and promote safety protocols, prioritize the well‑being of passengers, crew, and the environment; possess knowledge of wildlife monitoring and predator defense techniques.
