Drive impactful conservation efforts as the Coordinator for Conservation Biology with The Nature Conservancy of Canada in Northern Ontario. Focus on land stewardship, habitat restoration, and community partnerships.
This permanent, full-time position is centered in Timmins and includes collaboration across the region. You will manage the administrative and operational aspects of various conservation projects while leading efforts to restore habitats, monitor wildlife, and engage local communities, including Indigenous Peoples, in sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement management plans and conservation strategies
• Coordinate partnerships for effective land stewardship
• Monitor NCC properties and manage compliance issues
• Supervise and train seasonal staff and volunteers
• Develop reports for conservation success metrics
