Job Overview

As an Automation Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, supervising, and performing tasks related to the automation area, including production of parts for machinery, installation and maintenance of equipment, leading contracts, coordinating with other departments, and training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the realization of all automation technical operations including management of equipment, machines, tooling, fixtures and peripheries.
• Coordinate labor in the machine shop and automation laboratory.
• Read and interpret drawings of mechanical parts.
• Handle measuring instruments (micrometer, caliper, gauges, etc.).
• Ensure integrity and proper use of equipment and tools.
• Install and integrate new machines.
• Repair and maintain equipment and machinery.
• Provide training to turner and milling machine technicians.
