Our client, the food service industry, is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the culinary support team supporting mass food production and assembly. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Cook

**Location:** Long Island City, NY

**Pay Range: $28 - 29/hr**

**Shift:** Schedule will either be Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM.

**What's the Job?**

+ Accurately and efficiently follow recipes, prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for various meal periods including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
+ Follow recipes and build sheets precisely to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation.
+ Properly label Grab & Go containers and ensure all food safety standards are maintained.
