Client in Oshawa, Ontario is seeking a Controls Engineer for a contract role. The successful candidate will be on the forefront of realistic automotive mechatronic simulation environments which allow for faster development cycles for all EV and PHEV vehicles with a focus on brake and propulsion thermal management systems. The candidate will be able to integrate HIL simulation models with real ECUs and vehicle hardware based on closed loop simulation requirements. In addition, the candidate shall have strong end‑to‑end mechatronic integration and troubleshooting skills related to CAN, ethernet, electrical, automotive vehicle hardware in an engineering lab setting. There will be heavy emphasis on being able to keep up to speed on new and evolving technology.
M-F 8.30am to 5pm 1st shift
