Continuous Improvement Engineer

Position Overview: The Continuous Improvement Engineer will analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement across aircraft and component maintenance/modification/repair/overhaul, aircraft part manufacture, engineering, supply chain, and project portfolio management activities. Develop and implement improvement initiatives using continuous improvement tools & techniques, working closely with diverse stakeholder groups, often including IT. Measure improvements, set them up to be sustained, communicate results, celebrate successes, and share lessons learned. Promote and develop continuous improvement knowledge and thinking throughout the organization.

Review existing processes, facilities, systems, etc. for potential productivity improvements.

Use standard lean, six sigma, and industrial engineering tools/techniques to analyze existing processes and suggest improvements.
