Consumer Safety Officer

Summary This position serves as a Consumer Safety Officer (Senior Advisor) and is located in the Office of Inspections and Investigations, Office of Human and Animal Drug Inspectorate, which provides advice and counsel to the Associate Commissioner for Regulatory Affairs (ACRA) and other senior Agency leaders on medical products and tobacco inspections, compliance and other field activities. Responsibilities Serves as the principal advisor on regulatory program activities within the area of specialization involving a broad and complex range of public health programs that are operated domestically and abroad. Participates as a key member of the Director's executive leadership team in the development of long-range strategic and operational plans, complex cross cutting information collection and analysis, and decision-making.
