Construction Site Superintendent

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Site Superintendent leads a team of construction professionals. This position manages the construction activities at the project site. The Construction Site Superintendent implements and enforces D. Grant Construction Limited policies and programs, and ensures the project is safely constructed in accordance with design, quality expectations, budget and schedule.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate all daily on-site construction activities
• Implement the company’s Health and Safety Policy and Program to create a safe work environment throughout the jobsite and adhere to the safety and record keeping requirements.
• Hold employees and subcontractors accountable for safety performance
• Develop a construction plan to manage employee and subcontractor activities
• Complete paperwork as required
