Responsibilities
- Disassemble and reassemble the equipment for repair or transportation.
- Build new industrial and construction machinery.
- Read diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Maintain and install all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
- Repair broken or defective machine parts, using welding and brazing tools.
- Perform careful inventory and stock checks, and place orders for required material and equipment.
- Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards.
- Ensure all procedures and processes adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
