Opportunity Description
The Outcomes Service in Rockville, MD has an immediate opening for a Community Support Specialist I - Virtual CDS Facilitator.
The Virtual CDS Facilitator will plan, coordinate and provide direct support to the people we serve with intellectual/developmental disabilities on zoom or other virtual platforms.
This is a part time position. 18 hours per week. Direct hours 9:00am - 1:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday plus two hours planning time per week.
Pay Rate is $20 per hour
Overview:
+ Plan and facilitate virtual sessions including skill-building, creative activities, fitness, social games, and community access topics.
+ Support participants in building skills in areas such as daily living, communication, wellness, and self-advocacy.
+ Promote inclusive participation and provide individualized support as needed within the group setting.
