Communicative Disorders Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Manager of the Centre for Behavioural Services (CBS), the Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) is responsible for providing services to a variety of clients and client groups. As directed by the Manager, they provide direct service under supervision by the relevant clinician (i.e. Speech-Language Pathologist). Under the supervision of a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and/or Audiologist, the CDA implements communication-based interventions, supports therapy sessions, and assists with the development of therapy materials and documentation.
