The Combined Laboratory & Xray Technologist I is a working level position utilizing technical skills and judgment performing a diverse range of diagnostic procedures within the Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Cardiology and Specimen Procurement departments, within the scope of practice of a CLXT. Applicants must be able to work independently and perform all aspects within the scope of practice of a CLXT from sample collection to testing/resulting in all of the abovementioned disciplines. Lacombe Hospital is an acute care hospital with a busy emergency department as well as acute care, day surgeries, restorative care, palliative and long-term care departments providing service for the Community and surrounding area. The successful applicant will be required to present to the hospital for callback within 30 minutes. Lacombe is a Lab only site.
