CNC Programmer (Numerical Control Programmer)

Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary dedicated to manufacturing major components of landing gear. The Mirabel plant uses state‑of‑the‑art equipment for machining, polishing and special processes (heat treatment, shot peening and surface treatments).

Responsibilities

• Support the operations team by providing expertise in programming CNC machine tools.
• Interact daily with operators to gather regular feedback.
• Coach operators to increase their understanding of programming.
• Use the RPO (Operational Problem Resolution) tool to solve issues: analyze indicators and maintenance data, identify root cause, analyze alternatives, find and validate the optimal solution and follow up.
• Implement continuous improvement projects based on various results (RTA, OLE, etc.).
