Opportunity Description
The Neurocritical Care Clinical Pharmacist will provide pharmacotherapeutic support for patients in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit and Neurovascular Stepdown Unit.
In addition to being an integral member of the interdisciplinary patient care team, this individual will participate in numerous Committees at both the hospital and health system level(s). The Neurocritical Care Clinical Pharmacist will also serve as a preceptor in the Atlantic Health PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program.
Additional responsibilities include:
+ Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to neurologically injured patients in the Neuro Intensive Care and Neurovascular Stepdown Units.
+ Patient care responsibilities include: review and recommend optimal, evidence-based medication therapy; provide pharmacokinetic consultations as required; document any changes in patient and pharmacy records and inform others of medication changes; prevent, detect, monitor, document, and report a...
