Job Summary

The Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) incorporating Capsule Endoscopy Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) provides specialist assessment, education, monitoring and support to patients with IBD throughout their care pathway. The CNS works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred care and acts as a key resource for patients, families and healthcare professionals.

The CNS is responsible for coordinating and managing the IBD & Capsule Endoscopy nursing service, including patient assessment, preparation, procedure delivery, follow-up and patient education.
