Clinic Registered Nurse - Wound Care

The Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) is primarily responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care to the Wound Care Center patients as scheduled under the supervision of a group of providers. Must be able to use critical thinking and leadership skills to prioritize needs of clinic, allowing for most efficient clinic flow, and optimal patient experience. The RN will demonstrate knowledge of the nursing process as a standard, incorporating elements of holistic patient centered care through the collection, verification and organization of data about a patient’s health status, planning for care, implementation of the plan and evaluation. The incumbent will be required to function independently during Nurse Appointments, which include but are not limited to physical assessments and pain assessment and documentation in the electronic health record.
