CLIMATE CHANGE MANAGER

Responsibilities

• Support the Nunatsiavut Government Climate Change Committee in the finalization of the Nunatsiavut Climate Change Strategy
• Manage and support the implementation of the Nunatsiavut Climate Change Strategy and implementation plan
• Coordinate and manage all NG-led climate change related research and monitoring projects
• Liaise and coordinate with external partners on external research and monitoring projects
• Liaise and coordinate with external organizations and academic institutions on their Nunatsiavut climate change related work
• Support the climate change needs of other NG Departments, including the Nunatsiavut Infrastructure Strategy
• Work with and support the National Inuit Climate Change Committee and the Inuit-Canada Table on Clean Growth and Climate Change
