Opportunity Description
Drive and deliver with Purolator as a Class 1 Linehaul Driver in Nanaimo, BC. This role involves operating company vehicles effectively while ensuring timely freight deliveries and pickups.
As part of the Purolator team, you will work Monday to Friday from midnight to 7:30 AM, amounting to 35 hours weekly. Your main duties will include safely driving to various client locations, handling freight, and resolving issues on the road with Dispatch. You must demonstrate your driving expertise and commitment to service excellence through accurate deliveries and detailed vehicle inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive to and from customer locations efficiently
• Operate tractors, 5-ton vehicles, shunt trucks safely
• Load, unload, and scan freight upon pickup and delivery
• Collaborate with Dispatch to resolve road issues
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
