Become a vital part of our Claims team as an Image Desk Appraiser. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with repair standards while managing costs effectively.
In this office-based position, the Image Desk Appraiser collaborates with fellow appraisal professionals to review repair estimates and evaluate total-loss scenarios. You will foster relationships with Gold Medal Shops and have the opportunity to implement virtual estimating techniques, enhancing efficiency at Peace Hills Insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review estimates for adherence to guidelines
• Provide total-loss vehicle valuation insights
• Confirm repair estimates on Audatex/Qapter
• Communicate with vendor partners regularly
• Conduct precise assessments of damaged vehicles
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years relevant auto industry experience
• Knowledge of automobile repair procedures
• Basic understanding of insurance operations
• Courses from I-CAR or Vale seen as advantageous
