Civil Superintendent

Our client, a civil contractor in the Greater Vancouver Area, specializes in underground wet utilities (water, sanitary, storm), deep excavations, and complex urban work. They are seeking a Site Superintendent to lead field delivery on municipal and private utility projects across the Lower Mainland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day field operations for underground wet utility installations, including watermains, force mains, gravity sewers, storm systems, manholes, chambers, and services.
• Plan work areas, traffic management, and sequencing for tight urban sites, live tie-ins, night work, and shutdowns.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, trucking, and inspections to meet schedule and budget targets.
• Oversee trenching, shoring, dewatering, bypass pumping, compaction, backfill, and road restoration to MMCD and municipal specs.
