Civil Engineering Technologist

Opportunity

Tetra Tech is adding a Civil Engineering Technologist to its Materials and Construction Services team based in Edmonton, AB. This is a temporary hourly contract position expected to continue through November or December, depending on weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Working on transportation infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects in both field and laboratory environments.
• Performing field testing of soil, aggregates, and concrete including plastic concrete testing and making samples for testing in the laboratory, and density testing using nuclear density gauges.
• Assisting in providing quality control and quality assurance on a variety of laboratory and field-testing related projects.
• Assisting in preparation of field-testing reports.
• Other duties required to conduct our business and build on the job knowledge.
