Civil Engineering Interns 2026/27 - Bay of Plenty

Swap screen time for site time this summer and get stuck into real projects that help build and maintain the roads, bridges, water and energy infrastructure communities rely on every day.

About the role

This paid internship runs from November 2026 to February 2027 and gives you a real taste of civil contracting. You’ll be out on site, learning from experienced crews, seeing how designs become real infrastructure, and building practical experience that counts towards your Civil Engineering hours. Do well here and you could fast‑track into Fulton Hogan scholarships and our Graduate Programme.

Key role responsibilities

• Work alongside our project and site teams on live infrastructure projects.
• Get hands‑on exposure to day‑to‑day operations, planning and project delivery.
