Child and Youth Worker – Intensive Services Program

Full‑time Position in Timmins (FW Schumacher)

Responsible for all direct work within the community‑based live‑in program for children and youth. Duties include providing care, supporting the development of life skills and social skills for children and youth aged 8 to 18 years, intervention, monitoring, participating in activities, completing records, logs and inventories, performing building safety and security checks, and providing support to clients.

Job Requirements (Qualifications and Skills)

• Successful completion of a diploma and/or degree from an accredited college or university in Social Services, Human Services, Police Foundations, Community and Justice Program, Paramedic or Registered Practical Nursing (RPN) is preferred. A Personal Support Worker Certificate (eight months or longer) may also be considered.
