Overview

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the RM of Wallace-Woodworth, located in Virden, MB. The CFO leads financial management and long-term fiscal planning, provides expert advice to Council and the CAO, and aligns financial strategies with the municipality’s strategic plan. The CFO oversees the Finance Department and ensures financial oversight of all municipal functions including operating and capital budgets, utility finances, infrastructure planning, and grant compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior financial advisor to Council, the CAO, and department heads, providing guidance on financial policy, fiscal planning, and strategic investments
