Under the medical direction and supervision of a physician, Respiratory Therapists plan and implement a variety of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures for patients suffering from a wide range of cardiac and pulmonary disorders. In this role you will provide mechanical ventilatory support to victims of motor‑vehicle accidents, stroke or heart attack, support patients undergoing abdominal, thoracic or open‑heart surgery, assist pediatric patients and premature infants, and perform breathing tests in the Pulmonary Function Laboratory. The Respiratory Therapy Department at HSN provides 24‑hour coverage.
