Shape spiritual recovery journeys as a Chaplain at The Salvation Army in Langley, BC. This full-time role centers on providing nurturing spiritual care within a supportive community atmosphere.
The Salvation Army is looking for a compassionate Chaplain to lead spiritual support initiatives at the Gateway of Hope. Responsible for ensuring a spiritually vibrant environment, the Chaplain will collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate spiritual practices into client care. This position requires expertise in pastoral care, crisis management, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer one-on-one spiritual counseling to clients
• Coordinate and lead spiritual workshops and rituals
• Document spiritual care interactions and maintain reports
• Collaborate on individualized care plans with multidisciplinary teams
• Build relationships with local churches and community partners
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant spiritual education
