Certified Dental Assistant

Adecco Medical & Science is assisting a local client in their search to hire a **Certified Dental Assistant** in Newark, NJ.

**Shift:** Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, (35 hour work week, 1 hour lunch break)
**Hourly pay range:** $ 25.00/hr.
**Certification/licenses:** CDA and X-ray license

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

· Seat patients, adjusts chairs and drapes patients with protective covers.

· Sets up each unit with proper supplies and instruments needed by postgraduate students during daily patient treatment.

· Performs Four-handed assisting with doctor during examination and treatment of patients.

· Operates suction equipment.

· Mixes endodontic and restorative materials.

· Maintains all dental instruments and equipment.

· Maintain cleanliness of clinic and dispensary area following OSHA regulations.

· Utilizes digital radiographic equipment to obtain images.
