About the Position
The Centre for Trades and Technologies is looking for a positive, outgoing, and self-directed individual with excellent communication skills to provide technical services for students and instructors. The position supports Electrician Programs and other apprenticeship and credit programs within the Centre for Trades and Technologies by supporting instructors during lab classes, maintaining shops, shop equipment, and ordering supplies.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for student issues as they arise
- Build teaching aids and shop fixtures as required by instructors or the institution for labs and classrooms
- Purchase office and shop supplies, and track purchases to ensure timely arrival
