Job Summary
The Central Planner is responsible for the order to delivery phase of the purchasing process for parts supplied by their assigned suppliers for all production facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage purchase orders to satisfy manufacturing requirements Multi‑site planning and inventory responsibility Manage and work with third‑party vendors Analyze inventory for opportunities to improve turns and identify excess Manage international trade compliance rules and practices Coordinate the disposition of inactive, excess and obsolete inventory Monitor and react to MRP exception messages, communicate and/or raise issues as appropriate Communicate delays, shortages, problems, and shipment or inventory level issues to Production, Purchasing, and Logistics Work with suppliers, carriers, and logistics to expedite deliveries arising from inventory variances, rejections or late deliveries Resolve and review receiving issues (e.g., over/short, labeling, keying err...Interested in this opportunity?
