Catastrophe Risk Analyst (Bogotá)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Catastrophe Modelling team, positioned and working primarily with colleagues in Bogota, Miami, and London servicing clients across Latin America and the Caribbean region.

Responsibilities

• Organize client data, check data for reasonability, load data into catastrophe models, run the models and share output with senior colleagues to help determine client’s degree of risk.
• Perform basic calculations with client data to assess a range of risk exposures and predict outcomes for clients in support of the reinsurance transaction process.
• Develop knowledge in certain region-based or peril-based areas of catastrophe risk management through research or experience to advance professionally and gain recognition as an expert in the industry.
• Establish client relationships, resolve questions and challenges that may arise.
