Case Aide

Case Aides work closely with the Sagamok Anishnawbek team of Band Representatives and frontline workers, as well as with the Sagamok Anishnawbek families. Case Aides are responsible for supporting front line workers with a range of responsibilities during all stages of a protection case (investigation and assessment to ongoing case management). They can also provide direct support to families without Band Representatives present, including activities that help carry out the wellness plan for the child and family.

The Case Aide works out of the Child and Family Advocacy Unit and reports directly to the Child and Family Advocacy Unit Manager for their daily job duties. The Family Support Worker is expected to conduct their responsibilities in a way that promotes the culture and aspirations of Sagamok Anishnawbek.
