Position Overview
Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. (ACSI) is seeking experienced Carpenter Apprentices & Journeypersons to serve as integral members of our project teams, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality construction execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and apply information found in drawings and specifications.
- Plan and execute layout work, including selecting materials, measuring, and marking.
- Prepare, erect, and remove structural formwork for concrete foundations, walls, columns, beams, and shafts.
- Cut, shape, and join materials using nails, screws, bolts, or glue.
- Verify completed units for levelness, squareness, plumbness, and correct sizing, shape, and position.
- Perform general carpentry tasks such as framing, hoarding, doors, frames, and other assigned activities.
