Cardiovascular Surgical Technician

The Cardiovascular Surgical Technician is responsible for providing assistance to the cardiac surgeon in the cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment; as well as preparing and providing sterile instruments and maintaining the sterilization of surgical equipment, arranging surgical equipment and adjust medical tools to ensure that the surgical devices are functioning properly.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Surgical Technician certification Preferred (may be required per state and/or client requirement)
+ One year experience as a Surgical Technician in a CVOR (cardiovascular operating room) required
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
