The Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) plays a critical role in supporting physicians and contributing to a high-quality healthcare system across Canada. As a trusted partner to more than 120,000 members, the CMPA provides medico-legal advice, legal assistance, and risk management support while helping to promote safe medical care and fair compensation for patients harmed by negligent care.
As legal expenditures continue to rise in complexity and significance, the CMPA is seeking a Manager, Medico-Legal Estimates to establish and lead a new function focused on case-level forecasting, cost analysis, and predictive modelling. This role represents a strategic investment in the CMPA’s ability to better understand medico-legal cost drivers, improve forecasting accuracy, and support informed decision-making across the organization.
