Matrix HR is actively recruiting skilled Apprentice and Journeyman Carpenters for various construction sites in Calgary, AB. This is an opportunity to engage in diverse carpentry work including both framing and finishing tasks.
In this hands-on position, you will perform selective demolition, operate various carpentry tools, and collaborate with a skilled team. A strong commitment to safety is essential, as you will be working at heights, in confined spaces, and under varying weather conditions. Your communication skills and ability to interpret architectural plans will significantly enhance team efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform selective demolition and manage waste
• Execute wood and steel framing projects
• Finish carpentry and layout tasks effectively
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Collaborate with team members on site
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in residential or commercial construction
• Tool pouch and full PPE mandatory
