Opportunity Description
Join Startec Compression & Process as a dedicated B-Pressure Vessel Welder in Calgary, Alberta. Work evenings in a dynamic environment dedicated to energy transition solutions.
We are seeking a B-Pressure Vessel Welder with a minimum of 2 years of vessel welding experience to work at our Shepard Shop. You will follow detailed blueprints to fabricate pressure vessels using various welding techniques. The work schedule is from 4:30 p.m. to 2:20 a.m., emphasizing safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate pressure vessels based on engineering drawings
• Read and layout prints for accurate fitting
• Perform SMAW, GMAW, FCAW/GTAW welding processes
• Keep the workspace safe and well-organized
• Collaborate with engineering in project reviews
Requirements:
• Journeyman certification in welding or related field
• 2+ years of pressure vessel welding experience
• B-Pressure Certificate required
